Monk of Zamorak safe spot

A player safe-spotting a Monk of Zamorak

Monks of Zamorak are evil clerics that follow Zamorak, god of chaos. They are found in several locations, including the Asgarnian chaos temple, Taverley Dungeon and Paterdomus. A caged level 17 monk of zamorak on the ground floor of Varrock Palace is often used in free-to-play servers to train magic using the Curse spell

Despite them being feared they are extremely useful for Ranged training as they are weak towards ranged and there are many safe spots. It is also a useful spot because there is an altar located in the temple for prayer.

One under the radar spot where there are only melee-only combat is directly in the red salamander hunting spot near the Tree Gnome Village. You must defeat a level 30 for completion of Priest in Peril.

They are infrequently fought due to their low drop prospects.

Anecdotal evidence suggests that the Zamorak robe (bottom) is dropped more frequently than the Zamorak robe (top).
