Mature moonlight mead is the mature version of Moonlight mead. When drunk, it will heal 6 hitpoints versus the 4 of the regular type. It can be made with the Cooking skill at level 44. A keg of 4 doses of this brew can be drunk, in four bites, for a total of 24 HP of healing in one inventory space, 672 HP for a full inventory of kegs, which places this item at the low end of the most concentrated healing items in the game.

The full recipe for standard Moonlight mead is as follows (ingredients used in the order given):
- 2 Buckets of water
- 2 Barley malt
- (optional) 1 "The stuff," to increase chance of maturity
- 4 mushrooms
- 1 Ale yeast
- Wait 1-2 days
- Collect the completed ale using 8 beer glasses or 2 calquat kegs
