The Mythical Cape is a melee cape that can be purchased from Jack at the Mythical Cape Store, located on the top floor of the Myths' Guild. In order to wear the cape, one must complete the Dragon Slayer II Quest. The cape is widely regarded as the 3rd best cape in the game, below the Infernal cape and Fire cape.
It can be purchased from Jack at the Mythical Cape Store on the top floor of the Myths' Guild for 10,000 coins. The cape provides unlimited free teleports to the guild. The mythical cape has the highest crush attack bonus of any cape slot item in Old School RuneScape, providing a +6 bonus.
The cape may be mounted in the Quest Hall of a player-owned house in the Guild trophy space. This requires 3 teak planks and grants 370 Construction experience. While mounted, the player can use it to teleport to the Myths' Guild.
The cape will be converted into 1,200 coins upon losing it on death in level 20 or deeper Wilderness.

- The design of the cape was the result of a design contest, followed by the Mythical Cape poll, in which a design submitted by JackScape won.
- The cape could be seen being worn by Alec Kincade and Ponts the Bridgemaster following an update around a month prior to release.
