The pipe section is an item used in the Trouble Brewing minigame to repair sabotaged pipes and water pumps. In the beginning of the game some pipes are set on the supply table. This item can also be made by using a regular log on a workbench. Logs can be gathered from the log store (also located within your base) or by chopping down the various trees around your base with an axe. Creating a bamboo pipe rewards 12.5 crafting experience, and actually using it rewards the same amount.
