A Prayer potion is a potion made with Herblore that restores Prayer points. It appears as a vial containing a turquoise fluid, and can be made at level 38 Herblore by adding ranarr weed to a vial of water and finishing it off with snape grass. This makes a potion with three doses, and grants 87.5 Herblore experience.

This potion provides less Prayer restoration than a super restore potion by 1 point per dose. Prayer potions are almost always in high demand due largely to the common use of prayers for most combat situations. Having a way of restoring Prayer points in the middle of battle (and without the need of an altar) is very convenient.

The prayer points restored by consuming prayer-restoring potions can be further enhanced if the player has a Holy wrench or a Ring of the gods (i) in their possession.
