Prickly kebbits are caught through the Hunter skill, requiring 37 Hunter to attempt to catch these. They are deadfall trapped, requiring at least one set of logs and a knife. These grant 204 experience. A chisel is also recommended to fletch Kebbit spikes into stackable Kebbit bolts, requiring 32 Fletching. You should also bring an axe to chop down trees around the hunting area for materials to set up traps, as well as Kandarin headgear to increase your efficiency when gathering logs.

Prickly kebbits can be found in the Piscatoris Hunter area, which is situated north-west of the Tree Gnome Stronghold and south of the Piscatoris Fishing Colony. The best way to get there is by using the Fairy Rings code AKQ. Alternatively, you can run north-west from Tree Gnome Stronghold or Ardougne, and take the boat by talking to Kathy Corkat, who is located at the transportation icon just east of the Eagles' Peak at the cost of 50 coins. She will bring you to the entrance of Piscatoris Fishing Colony.

On average, hunting prickly kebbits will provide about 35k experience per hour. While hunting them only in order to gain experience one should have at least 4 logs in their inventory and every second time after setting up a trap one should cut two more logs. This will provide the maximum amount of experience per hour.
