The Ranged cape is a Cape of Accomplishment awarded to players who have achieved 99 Ranged. The skillcape and its respective hood can be bought from Aaron the Armour salesman in the Ranging Guild for 99,000 coins.

Like all skill capes, the Ranging cape gives +9 to all defensive stats, and also a +4 bonus to prayer if it is trimmed, which requires a separate skill at level 99. The cape is automatically trimmed if this condition is met.
When the ranging cape is equipped, it will grant players the ammo-saving effects of Ava's accumulator. The update article states that the ranging cape will Act as an Ava's accumulator. and may be misinterpreted as the cape having the stats of Ava's accumulator. The cape will only provide the ammo-saving effects of the accumulator. As a result, in some instances, it may be desirable to use Ava's accumulator rather than the Ranged cape, however the +4 range attack bonus conferred is generally negligible.
