The River Salve marks the border between Misthalin and Morytania. Completion of the Priest in Peril quest is required to gain access to the Morytania side of the river.
Bridges[]
The only crossing of the River Salve is the temple of Paterdomus, requiring you to go through the whole temple before reaching the bridge.

A broken railing shortcut is available at 65 Agility and will allow you to get to the bridge without going through the whole temple.
Important facts[]
The River Salve is a barrier between Misthalin and Morytania. According to legend, the river will not allow any evil of Morytania to cross the banks. This however has somehow been broken as discovered in the Darkness of Hallowvale quest.
Panning for artefacts in a branch of this river is a part of The Dig Site quest.
You must dip your silvthrill rod in this river during the In Aid of the Myreque quest to create the rod of ivandis.
Trivia[]
- There is a fairy ring on the one island in the river, accessible with code BIP. You can cross east over a stepping stone into Morytania with 50 Agility.
