Ruby bolts (e) Have a special ability called blood tribute. Whenever the player successfully hits an enemy with the bolts, there is a chance that their normal hit will be replaced with a special effect. The effect deals removes 20% of the targets current hp, at the cost of 10% of the users current hp. This effect is excellent against monsters with high hp, but weak against players.
Like all ranged ammunition, ruby bolts (e) do not have a visible strength bonus, and their damage is not boosted by any items which boost the strength bonus. The strength bonus entered here is from 2009, when the ranged strength stat was made visible.
