A runite crossbow (u) is the second stage of a fletched rune crossbow before it is strung. Unstrung rune crossbows can be made through the Fletching skill at level 69 by using a yew stock with rune crossbow limbs, granting 100 Fletching experience. A player can finish the crossbow by adding a crossbow string, granting 50 experience and making the unstrung rune crossbow into a rune crossbow. This item can also be obtained as a drop from a Skeletal Wyvern.
