Sardines are one of the first items that can be cooked, at level 1 cooking required, but require level 5 fishing to catch by sea bait fishing. They can be cooked by using a raw sardine with a fire or an oven, and the sardines can be eaten to heal a small amount of hitpoints. Raw sardines can also be used to feed kittens, or rubbed with a Doogle Leaf to create a seasoned sardine, which is required for the members quest Gertrude's Cat.
