The sealed message is obtained during the Darkness of Hallowvale quest. It is a sealed letter written by Safalaan to be delivered to Veliaf. Attempting to read it gives the message "Although you'd like nothing more than to rip the envelope off this message and read the highly secret details inside, your conscience gets the better of you, and you decide instead to deliver it to Veliaf intact."

Once delivered, the player discovers that it is really a commendation letter from the "highest ranking member of the Myreque", and Veliaf then makes the player a full member of the Myreque.
