Silver dust can be obtained by grinding a silver bar in the bone grinder in the Ectofuntus. Unlike most ground ingredients in Herblore, silver cannot be ground down by a pestle and mortar. It is an ingredient for the Guthix balance potion, used on several types of Vampyre. Silver dust has no other use besides the potion.
