Skotizo is a demonic demi-boss located beneath the Catacombs of Kourend. Accessing its lair requires the use of a dark totem on the altar found in the centre of the Catacombs. One dark totem persists for only one attempt.
Like all demons, it is susceptible to the powers of Silverlight, Darklight, and Arclight.
In order to deal full damage to Skotizo, players must disable the Awakened Altars found in the corners of the lair; the Arclight will instantly disable them. The best method is to make sure only 2 or less eyes are still vulnerable, as more will increase Skotizo's defence. While out of melee distance, it will only use magic attacks, so Protect from Magic is recommended. Once it reaches half of its health, it may chant Gar mulno ful taglo!, which will summon three reanimated demon spawns. Ignore them and continue attacking Skotizo while praying Protect from Melee. It may also summon a Dark Ankou, which should be ignored as well.
Once defeated, it is guaranteed to drop a hard clue scroll, providing the player does not already have one in their possession, and an ancient shard.
Note: The lair is instanced, so do not bring any items you are not willing to lose as it will be lost on death.
