Spikes can only be found in the Barbarian Assault minigame on the 10th wave. The person designated as the Attacker must take them from the petrified mushrooms found around the area.

They are to be used upon an Omega egg. Any spare spikes are automatically removed from the inventory upon leaving the Barbarian Assault cavern.
