The stake is a quest item used in the Vampire Slayer quest. This item is obtained by talking to Dr Harlow at the Blue Moon Inn in Varrock. The player must use the stake, along with a hammer, to kill Count Draynor.

- In RuneScape Classic, it was possible to wield this item as a weapon, and both its stats and appearance resembled that of a bronze longsword.
