Steel longsword detail

The steel longsword is a longsword that is stronger than the iron longsword, but weaker than the black longsword. Like all other melee steel weapons, it requires an Attack level of 5 to wield. Players can make a steel longsword with a Smithing level of 36 using two steel bars and a hammer on an anvil granting 75 Smithing experience. Players can purchase this longsword from Varrock Swordshop in Varrock, obtain it as a drop from Kalphite workers, or find it on level 2 of the Abandoned Mine.

A steel longsword is used in the completion of emote clues of certain easy clue scrolls.
