I might be wrong, but half of this quest can now be skipped
Half of this quest merely involves getting a glowing fungus as a light source. This is totally unnecessary if the player is bringing Kandarin Headgear (or a Bruma torch) as these light sources cannot go out. I tested this myself, brought my Kandarin Headgear, and, indeed, it did not go out when entering the water-filled chamber. At this point in the quest, however, I did set up the minecart where the mushroom could be picked up, so I'm not entirely sure if this will work or not. If this does work, that means literally half of the quest can be skipped and the player can go straight to the boss fight if they bring their Kandarin Headgear. 71.226.42.196 04:02, June 18, 2017 (UTC)
