I find the piece of trivia "The sun rises in the east in real life, which happens to be viewable from the balcony of the top floor of the inn, appropriately living up to its name." very unusual - if you were standing on the balcony you could see east, south, and west - so the placement of the balcony isn't very significant or symbolic. This isn't really a piece of trivia as much as it is a basic observation. A more appropriate piece of trivia would be that the Inn's name is more than likely a reference to the song House of the Rising Sun by The Animals, or that the reference to cabbages the drunken man makes upstairs is a continuation of the cabbage jokes seen throughout the game.
