Thrones are furniture which can be built on the throne hotspots in the Throne Room of a Player-owned house. Thrones are built in matching pairs. Despite their lack of any particularly useful functions, thrones are often built as a show of wealth and Construction expertise, especially the Demonic throne.
Anybody can sit on a throne, despite thrones having the examine description "Sit here and rule all you survey."

- Contrary to popular belief, you can't build two different types of thrones in one throne room. You always build and remove both thrones at once.
