The Toad and Chicken is a bar and an inn found in Burthorpe, north of Taverley. It caters primarily to the soldiers and citizens of Burthorpe. Wizard's mind bomb, Dwarven stout and Asgarnian ale are all purchasable from Tostig for two coins each. Players can also find the entrance to the Rogues' Den on the ground floor. Players can also pickup an Asgarnian ale and an empty beer glass on the bar counter.

Players doing the Death Plateau quest can find Harold in the last room on the 1st floor[?] of the inn. On the ground floor, players can help Bernald, in the garden, during the Garden of Tranquillity quest by curing his grape vines.
A branch bar, served by Sam and Rachael, can be found inside the Burthorpe Games Room. The branch bar shares the same stock as the main bar.
