This article is a collection of Treasure Trail clues and their solutions, along with some general tips for completing Treasure Trails.

n.b. Using your browser's search function (Windows: Ctrl + F) can be helpful with finding the clue you are looking for.

Preparation

In order to complete a Treasure Trail in a most efficient manner as possible, it is recommended to travel without much equipment as to avoid using up all of your run energy quickly.

Coins 1000
Coins Coins are needed for paying for transportation on ships, the Al Kharid gate, and for buying emote clue items.
Law rune
Teleportation Runes Teleportation runes allow the player to reduce the time taken walking to their destination.
Emerald ring
Teleportation Jewelry Teleportation jewelry allows the player to reduce the time taken walking to their destination, such as the Ring of Duelling.
Boots of lightness
Weight Reducing Clothing Weight reducing clothing allows the player to run for longer periods of time, such as the Boots of lightness.
Energy Potions Drinking energy potions will allow the player to run for most of the treasure trail, greatly reducing the time required to complete it.
Spade
Spade Needed for map and coordinate clues.
Sextant
Sextant, Chart, and Watch Needed for coordinate clues
Dragon longsword
Weapons/Armour Needed for hard clues dropped by high level monsters.

Bringing teleportation items and run energy potions can also greatly reduce the amount of time it requires to complete a Treasure Trail. A decent amount of coins is also useful for buying items for emote clues and paying for transportation on ships. A sextant, watch, chart, and spade is also needed for completing coordinate clues.

Directly behind the Wizards' Tower, there's a fern you can use as a reference, the dig spot is one tile directly north-west of the fern.
Map clue Tower of Life Just south of East Ardougne, north of the Tower of Life, near the Necromancer's tower. Dig 2 spaces north of the smaller crate that Bonafido is leaning on. The dead, red dragon watches over this chest. He must really dig the view. Go to Barbarian Village or barbarian outpost and kill a male barbarian and collect the key he drops. Go to the Exam centre south of the Digsite and search the chest under the red dragon's head in the main building.

You'll need to look for a town with a central fountain. Look for a locked chest in the town's chapel. Kill a monk in the Kandarin monastery south of Ardougne to obtain the key. Then, head to the northern church in Varrock and unlock the chest seen in the image to the right. File:Solution22 Map.png
Go to the village being attacked by trolls, search the drawers in one of the houses. You must search a drawer in Dunstan's house, which is found in the Northeastern section of Burthorpe. You must kill Penda in the Inn for the key.

Think in the center of the Observatory. Spin before you talk to me. Equip a mithril chainbody, green dragonhide chaps, and a ruby amulet.

Note: A lot of people have trouble with this clue, you need to stand in the exact spot as it shows on the minimap picture. Also make sure you are on the ground floor, and not the top floor.

Puzzle boxes

When the puzzle box is finished, simply close the box; if on a hard clue, speak with the non-player character who gave you the box.

n.b. Logging out with the puzzle unfinished will result in the loss of your progress and having to restart the puzzle.
