Trolls can be built in an oubliette or dungeon in a player-owned house for 1,000,000 coins. It does not count toward a slayer task. They require a Construction level of 90 to be constructed, along with the material cost of 1,000,000 coins.

Trolls are the second highest level guard that can be built in a player's dungeon; however, despite having a significantly lower combat level and cost than hellhounds, Trolls have a higher maximum hit of 23, compared to only 13 for Hellhounds.
