TzKal-Zuk is the last monster encountered in The Inferno, and currently the strongest monster (based on combat level) in Old School RuneScape.

According to TzHaar-Ket-Keh, TzKal-Zuk is the apparent leader of the feral TzHaar in the Inferno.

During the fight, a shield will appear to protect the player from TzKal-Zuk's attacks. The shield moves, so players will need to move alongside it to avoid taking damage from TzKal-Zuk. The player must be next to the shield before the boss attack animation begins otherwise they will be hit for very high damage. The Protect from Magic prayer will not reduce the damage of a hit taken from TzKal-Zuk.

After a certain amount of time while fighting TzKal-Zuk, a Jal-Xil and Jal-Zek will spawn. Both of these monsters will not be aggressive towards the player upon spawning, but instead will attack the shield. The shield has 600HP and has very slow regeneration. In order to prevent the shield from being destroyed the player must attack each of the monsters in order to make them target the player. If the fight takes too long, other Jal-Xil and Jal-Zek will spawn. If the shield is destroyed from not being protected, TzKal-Zuk will rapidly kill the player with very powerful magic attacks.

When TzKal-Zuk is under half health, JalTok-Jad will spawn, and will start to attack the shield. To prevent JalTok-Jad from destroying the shield, the player should tag JalTok-Jad immediately, and protect themselves from its attacks. It is highly suggested to kill JalTok-Jad rather than him live, because it is likely the Jal-Xil and Jal-Zek will respawn before the fight is over, and it would be very difficult to protect against both. Unlike Jal-Xil an Jal-Zek, JalTok-Jad does not appear to respawn again during the fight.

At approximately 240HP, 4 Jal-MejJak (Level 250) will spawn in the lava pool near TzKal-Zuk (two on each side). They will heal him rapidly each tick until the player hits them, at which time they will turn towards the platform and start channeling a meteor storm in a 3x3 area. Each hit of the meteor does approximately 9-11 damage

If the player stands in the area, they will take damage until they step out of range, or the Jal-MejJak are killed. The player will have to step back away from the shield, while still hiding behind it to avoid TzKal-Zuk's attacks (It is currently unknown if the shield still protects the player if they stand too far back).

One method to deal with the heals is to bring TzKal-Zuk to just above 240, then wait until the Jal-Xil and Jal-Zek respawn, kill them, and then attack TzKal-Zuk again. This gives the player time to focus on the healers without worrying about other monsters.

Upon defeating TzKal-Zuk, the player receives the Infernal cape, which is currently the best-in-slot cape for Melee.
