Wilderness Rogues' Chests

The Wilderness Rogues' Chests are located at the Rogues' Castle at approximately level 54 Wilderness. A Thieving level of 84 is required to open the chests, and doing so grants 100 experience upon opening. Otherwise, players attempting to open it without 84 Thieving will be hit for severe damage. The chest contains some decent rewards ranging from 1,000 minimum in value to approximately 30,000 gold, including various noted fish, runes, ores, and noted cut dragonstones. Be wary that while opening the chests, the nearby level-135 rogues will be alerted, and they will attack the player relentlessly for stealing their loot. It is highly recommended to have a Prayer level of 43 or higher to be able to use Protect from Melee, as the rogues possess a max hit of 15. Low-cost equipment that provides a high Prayer bonus, such as a set of monk's robes, a holy symbol, any god books, any Ardougne cloaks, and the Explorer's ring, are recommended as they can easily be re-obtained.

As the chests are located very deep within the Wilderness, beware of player-killers! In addition, use caution when entering or leaving the area, as the Chaos Elemental may wander in front or near the Rogue's Castle! Do not bring items you are not willing to lose.
