Yak-hide armour is a type of members-only armour in RuneScape. The armour is primarily designed to be worn by Warriors. To obtain yak-hide armour, the player can either make some using the Crafting skill or trade with another player. It requires level 20 Defence to wear, and the shield requires level 25 defence. Yak-hide armour is not meant for Player vs Player or Player vs Monster (unless Ice Trolls), and its most effective use is in the quest Fremennik Isles and to battle Ice trolls. Yak-hide armour matches full Steel armour (minus the Stell full helm) in Defence and Life bonuses but weighs much less.

The raw materials are dropped by yaks on the Fremennik Isles. Once a yak-hide has been obtained the player can take it to Thakkrad Sigmundson, who will cure the hides for 5 coins.

When worn, the armour reduces the maximum hit of Ice troll males, grunts and runts, and the shield reduces the maximum hit of Ice troll females.
