Varrock Diary discount perk
Players that have completed at least the easy set of Varrock Diary tasks can buy noted battlestaves at a discount price (7,000 coins each) once a day by claiming them from barrels located on the ground floor of the shop. The amount of staves one can buy each day depends on their progress in the Varrock Diary.
Buying discounted battlestaves is a good daily moneymaking method, as players can then immediately sell them on the Grand Exchange for over 1,000 gp more each. Players can also choose not to sell them and use them to train Crafting by making elemental battlestaves, which is especially useful for ironmen.
The table below shows the corresponding number of available battlestaves for each of the Varrock diaries, and the profit made from selling them on the Grand Exchange.

- Laying on the northern table inside the shop, there appears to be a Pharaoh's sceptre, a Slayer's staff, and a Rod of ivandis. However, Zaff does not sell any of these in his shop.
