Zamorak monk robes are a set of red robes available to free players. They were released in an update on 3 March 2003.

Zamorak monk robes are dropped by Disciples of Iban, Necromancers, Monks of Zamorak and Zamorak wizards. They are required to be worn in order to enter Iban's Temple in the quest Underground Pass, as well as the 1st floor of the Asgarnia Chaos Temple.

They provide magic offence, defence and prayer bonuses, with no other stat changes.

Trivia[]

Prior to an update, Zamorak monk robes were members only.
They were previously known as just Zamorak robes.
If a player attempts to take these items into the Saradomin waiting room of Castle Wars, he/she will be turned into a hare. If they enter the Guthix portal, the player will be turned into a sheep.
